Near Port Talbot, approximately 30 minutes from both Cardiff and Swansea, just off Junction 40 of the M4.

From Cardiff
Take Junction 40 of the M4 and take the third exit at the roundabout. At the mini roundabout, take the first exit. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles. On reaching a set of traffic lights at Cwmavon, proceed straight ahead. After approximately 500 yards you will come to another set of lights: bear right here (signposted Bryn & Maesteg). At the top of the hill the road will bear right slightly and then left. As the road bears left, Penycastell Farm can be found immediately on your right hand side.
From Swansea

From Maesteg
At the traffic lights on the crossroads in the centre of Maesteg, take the turning for Bryn (B4282). Follow this road for 2 miles, continuing through the village of Bryn and for one further mile. Penycastell Farm can be found on the left just before heading down towards Cwmavon.
